"We set out for a pause and reset and that is exactly what we got. We were greeted upon arrival and the owner extended an invite if we wanted to tour the Plantation House. Unfortunately, we didn't get to take him up on it. Hawi is a small town and literally just minutes away from the property. Added plus is that our little three year old chihuahua/ Jack Russell got to stay-cay with us. Plenty mahaloz for a great stay!"

"Great place in the cutest town ever! We could pick papaya right off the tree and have it the next day to eat, our hosts were so kind! We didn’t get to talk to them much because we were in and out but this place was so great. Definitely keep all of the windows open, up north they have a perfect mountain breeze that is a perfect sleeping temperature. Everything was very clean and we were comfortable the whole time. Definitely stay here a few nights!"

"I highly recommend this cottage in Hawi. The space is simple and cozy, and although on the small side, feels spacious due to the cathedral ceilings. The location is fantastic, right in town but set back on the grounds of the most beautiful Hawaiian plantation estate. The pool is large and was unoccupied for most of our visit, and the temperature was perfect. There are other people living/staying on the grounds and everyone was friendly, laid back, and respected our privacy. Keely was communicative and easily reached, but didn’t invade our space at all. I will recommend this beautiful laid back piece of old Hawaii to everyone I know."

This place is a hidden gem! The entire property is adorable and has so much amazing history! It’s an old plantation property and it just feels like home. The bungalow that we stayed in was very spacious, cozy and well stocked. The bed is comfortable and you can tell that the owner/manager has thought of everything you will need to get you started. Keely, the property manager, was very accommodating and helpful and quick to respond. My boys absolutely loved the pool and it was nice to have something to occupy their time with. Also, I ran into the cleaning lady, Rachael, a few times and she is so sweet! She gave us extra towels and bedding and told us a few spots to go to watch the sunset! We will be returning!"

"Prompt friendly communication. As described, clean and quiet, with nice touches such as a few toiletries if you forget. Great kitchen space with coffee maker, keurig, toaster oven, microwave, water filter. Outside screened lanai nice for storing wet gear. Nice through breeze at night with gently crowing junglefowl. Clean pool and pool house. If wi-fi is not working, just ask Keely, and a quick reset may be all you need. Had no specific issues. Close to town - walking distance to coffee, shops, and Saturday market. Would stay again."
