"We set out for a pause and reset and that is exactly what we got. We were greeted upon arrival and the owner extended an invite if we wanted to tour the Plantation House. Unfortunately, we didn't get to take him up on it. Hawi is a small town and literally just minutes away from the property. Added plus is that our little three year old chihuahua/ Jack Russell got to stay-cay with us. Plenty mahaloz for a great stay!"

At Hawi Plantation Inn, we take great pride in presenting a unique experience in our century-old estate home and vacation cottages qualifying as an authentic classical bed and breakfast with unique, charming cottages for vacation stay. 

The “once-upon-a-time” Sugarcane Plantation is located in the Kohala region which is rich in Hawaiian history as far back as over thousand years ago when the first recorded human settlement happened on this magical island. This ancient territory is the birthplace of King Kamehameha the Great who brought the chain of islands into one region through his powerful ability to conquer and reign over this vast island territory. 

A short distance from the Plantation Inn, less than two miles, one will find the statue of King Kamehameha standing tall over the quaint and charming town of Kapaau.
